T3 Voluminous Hot Rollers Set Voluminous Hot RollersI cut my hand THREE times trying to free the rollers from their hard plastic- from-hell packaging. I had nice sharp scissors and those are now probably ruined and they barely were able to open the ridiculous package. Allow 10 minutes for the product removal from package. And get some bandaids.Seriously, this will probably take about 200 zillion years to reach a half life. Very bad. And imagine if you did not have serious tools in the house!!Can't imagine why these hot rollers needed such a secure package, but it is not something you would want to give to an elderly person or someone who is not extremely able.Once you succeed in getting the package open and you MAKE sure you push the power cord in really tightly, these are great.

These rollers are terrible! I have been using hot rollers since they were invented and these are the worst. Very uneven heating - one roller gets hot but the one next to it is only warm. My hair gets tangled with these rollers and I have to pull them out, so there goes the curl. The pins are hard to use, leave lots of 'dents' in my hair, and all look exactly the same. I had to mark them so I could quickly tell the difference in size. I'm looking for new ones right now.

Conair's Ion shine Hairsetter are the only rollers that will work with my hair. I have very straight, thick, long, Asian hair. My hair is very difficult to style. When I use traditional curling irons, the curls will fall right out within minutes even with hair product. With other curlers, my curls turn out funky and the ends of my hair don't end up curled, but instead turn out frizzy looking. With these rollers, the curls turn out light and bouncy. When I apply hair product (i.e. gel or hairspray), my curls last for hours. I ALWAYS get compliments about my curls when I use these rollers and other Asian girls will ask me what I use to curl my hair.Pros:Heats up quickly. Easy to use. Clips do not leave crimps in hair. Curls are bouncy and ends of curls do not end up straight and frizzy looking.Cons:Wish they had a model with just the middle sized rollers. There's not enough in one set for my hair. I actually own two sets and use all the middle sized rollers from both sets to set my hair.

I am not a professional hairstylist; however, over the years I have become fairly adept at using a variety of tools and products to style my fine but curly hair. All have which worked exactly as expected and advertised. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!! It does not work. I tried the "risk free" trial. Everytime I called to return it, the person offered to send me "something else" that would make the Topstyler work appropriately. By the time I figured out that none of the "something elses" worked, I was stuck with it.Don't get me wrong, the curls are beautiful. THEY DO NOT LAST!!!!!!!!! It does not matter if there is humidity or not. The curls will last 15-20 minutes. That's it.What really ticks me off about this is I absolutely love the InStyler which is made by the same company. NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER!!!!

I was hoping I could get away with just hot-rolling my hair rather than straightening it, but for soft curls I have to straighten FIRST, then use the hot curlers. If I try just the curlers alone, my hair is still frizzy. "Normal" hair would do just fine but if you have thick, coarse hair, forget it. Also, only 15 clips come with the set, so you can't use all the curlers at one time!

Over the years, I have purchased various rollers, curling irons and curling brushes. It just depended on what length my hair was at the time. I currently have long hair (mid way down my back). It is also very thick and coarse. The Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium hair roller set is perfect for me. The rollers have a velvety wrap around them that holds my hair securely and makes it incredibly smooth. They also come with the traditional pins as well as clips to hold them in place. I have not used the pins. The clips are great! The rollers heat up quickly (10 minutes), and I leave them in while doing my make up and getting ready in the morning. The curls are soft and beautiful, and hold all day. I do not use hair spray, but I do use an olive oil hair solution on my hair before use. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely purchase again!
